Are you home stuck due to prolong snow or rain? Can't you find a way to have a good indoor time with your kids?
A few days ago when it was a snowy weekend in my state, I experienced the same and was bound inside the home with my daughter. We had a boring time together because we had no fun activity.
Even though I asked her to play some indoor games or draw crafts, she kept refusing as she is fond of playing with different types of outdoor playground equipment.
It was during that time I discovered the artistically made Cornerstone Lutheran Church Indoor Playground.
I came to know about this newly made playground through one of my neighborhood friends. I was talking to her over the phone and was telling her about the idle time we were having at home.
She then suggested to visit this playground and told some of her experiences, too. I asked about the location and went there the moment I hung up. I can't thank her enough for letting me and my daughter visit such an amazing place.
When Little One Got Crazy!
The moment my daughter stepped into the Cornerstone playground, she threw away her coat and shoes and ran towards the catchy preschool playground equipment that we could see from the entrance.
Trust me, it was just a labyrinth of several types of playground equipment where kids were jumping, playing, and jiggling in delight.
It was like a dream come true for my little one as she got out of home after a whole long weekend. The entire time we were there, she just played and played and made new friends.
At one point, I thought she had forgotten I came with her. Jokes apart as I, too, had a great time because I saw her busy finally.
The Best Part of the Playground
One thing about the playground that really amused me is it is divided into play areas according to children's ages.
There are separate areas for kids above and below ten and an exclusive enclosed area for kids of ages three or below.
Since my daughter is six, she was only allowed to go to the area exclusively allocated for younger kids. She insisted a lot on going to the region where elder kids were playing with mature equipment, but she couldn't as the rules were strict there and I, too, didn't want her to get injured.
When it Was Time To Go Back Home
When I announced it was time to go back home, she showed resentment and then resisted. She was persistent on spending some more time there, and at last, I had to surrender. I remained there throughout the evening and she thanked me for taking her to such a wonderland.
On our way back, she requested me to take her there every weekend and I agreed. I couldn't find a safer place for kids to play than the Cornerstone Lutheran Church Indoor Playground. My little one had a lovely time there; therefore, I highly recommend you to take your children there, too.
